The Electric Lady Series is a weeklong series of women-centered events offering a look internally and externally at womanhood while celebrating it’s many forms. Sofiya was listening to the song “1 thing” written and performed by Amerie, when she got the inspiration to start something new. She wanted to share the refreshing feeling she felt hearing a woman’s voice with other women. This led to the creation of the Electric Lady Series series which hosts an event that explores or heals, featuring women leading in entertainment, media, technology, health, and advocacy.
